Project Description
The project involved the creation of a space optimization program to establish space needs over a five-year period, based on a single floor ( approx 3400 sq. m) in the Jean Talon tower.

Functional requirements were established and related space requirements were determined. An existing furniture and equipment inventory was undertaken to determine usefulness. Operational objectives, assessment of image portrayal, interaction efficiency and proximity relationships were identified.

Three furniture systems were selected and assessed according to their space usage and functional advantages. Concepts were prepared to assess the advantages and disadvantages of the three systems.

Temporary or "swing" space requirements were identified. A temporary accommodation and relocation procedure was prepared, with related timeframes and costs. Relocation procedures and schedules were prepared and Class 'C' costs were identified.
